Music video comparisons
Here is a video that I believe shows what we are looking for in terms of transitions and shot speeds. Both the transitions and changes between shots are all very fast - connotations of this being the hectic nature of the music, and if we look further the resemblance to the lyrics. I believe that our video will also be similar in that it is solely performance based (as ours will be) and features some similar shots.

The lighting is really interesting. Perhaps you could analyse a little more in detail and explore whether it is possible to recreate in your recording space. You could comment on the types of shot and movement too, as well as the slow motion effect? Will you use any of them in your video?
ReplyDeleteWe will not be able to reproduce this type of video in our recording space due to the limited space available. We will also not be using any slow motion effects.
ReplyDeleteSome of the shot types are fast moving hand held shots, and we will be using some of these shots, particularly in a close up shot of Callum (drummer) playing the drums.
